  1. Ex. 02Copy

Follow the routing, not the rumor. A routing note is not a verified transaction.

  2. Ex. 03Copy

A mention in correspondence is not a resolved record.

  3. Ex. 04Copy

Place names repeat. Fact patterns stay in separate files.

  4. Ex. 05Copy

One question can have more than one custodian.

  5. Ex. 06Copy

Match the claim to the source. A mention is not a verdict.

  6. Ex. 07Copy

Redact only what the law requires, and say what was withheld.

  7. Ex. 08Copy

Release what the law allows. Say what it withholds.

  8. Ex. 09Copy

A sourced page corrects a rumor. Distinctions stay on the page.

  9. Ex. 10Copy

Who holds it, what can be released, and what is withheld.

  • Asks the U.S. Attorney and the Attorney General to release what they have.

A demand on X. Not a record produced, and not a finding that either office is withholding a named file.

A question. Tagging an office is not proof the office has a file, and not proof it has answered.

  • Posts a sourced note on EFTA01526966: a July 2007 JPMorgan Fedwire debit, described as via WEST SEC MISSOULA to Ideal Manufacturing, memo about a batch plant.

The post itself says this is not a Montana account, not delivery in Montana, and not knowledge of a crime. The desk has not re-opened the DOJ page image.

Fourth Judicial District · Missoula County

FullCourt is not this desk

Missoula County District Court has been on FullCourt Enterprise since June 2018. The public courtesy index is the District Court portal. It is a searchable case list: number, type, parties, court, and a register of actions. The Montana rules say that index is not the court record. Copies of filings come from the clerk, and they are not free.

This page does not log into FullCourt. Remote accounts are denied to the public. On October 13, 2026, the portal did not answer from this desk, so no new register line was copied. What follows is the last movement already published for the two Missoula district causes on this ledger.

  • DV-32-2026-0000037-WF

    Jacques v. City of Missoula

Last movement on this desk: City’s answer, May 1, 2026

Filed January 7, 2026, by Patti Jacques for herself and the estate of Ross M. Robertson. The May 7 Missoulian story said no hearing was set. The June 5 inquest is a coroner’s hearing. It is not a line on this civil register.

  • DV-32-2026-0000664

    Redfern v. Leichty

Last movement on this desk: Petition and judge change, June 12, 2026

Petition to extend or dismiss a civil investigative demand under MCA 30-14-113(2). Reassigned the same day to Judge Leslie Halligan because of companion cases. The public index was last refreshed June 16, 2026. The companions are not opened here.

Not a Fourth District cause, on purpose

  • The Redfern indictment reported October 13, 2026, is federal. It has no cause number in this file, and it does not belong on a Missoula district register.
  • The February ATF raid had no public filing as of February 7. A raid is not a district-court movement.
  • Nicholas Waikel’s death is a jail inquest. This desk has no district cause number for it, so none is written here.
  • Youth-court files are confidential and are not searched by name. Public complaints and the 2026 disqualification orders are a separate register.
  • The Fourth District also covers Mineral County. None of the files above were filed there.
